Our tapered 49″  hay spear is our best seller. It’s 1-3/4″ thickness, 49″ length and our design make this the powerhouse of all hay spears for moving your round bales. Since 2001, our quality has stayed the same and we test our 49″ hay spear at a 30″ workload giving you a more accurate rating unlike the competitors testing at 24″ which isn’t typically the center of a round bale. Rated at 3,500 lbs and a one year warranty against all manufacturing defects. Our 49″ hay spear comes with our patented doublenut® system. It comes with 2 nuts and one of those being a jam lock nut. When tightened, it prevents your bale spike from vibrating loose over time and all farmers know that’s the number one reason for failure of bale spikes.
